Are you looking for sustainable custom workwear that goes beyond a standard polo with a logo? In our sewing workshop in The Hague, we design and produce workwear that fits your brand, people, and sustainability goals.
From hospitality and retail to impact organizations and creative brands: we create circular workwear with local production, fair labor, and where possible upcycling of existing materials.
Why custom workwear (instead of a catalog)
Catalog clothing is quick, but often a compromise: the fit is just not right, the colors are slightly different from your house style, and after a few seasons the series is no longer available. With custom workwear you can:
- Translating your brand story into clothing that truly fits.
- Ensuring a better fit and wearing comfort for your team.
- Choosing sustainable materials that align with your ESG/impact goals.
- Continuing a consistent line, even if you want to reorder next year.
Because everything is made in The Hague, we can easily adjust, supplement, and further develop.
Made in a local workshop in The Hague
Atelier Jungles is located in The Hague. That means:
- Short lines: direct contact with design and production.
- Fair working conditions and transparency about who makes your clothing.
- Small and medium-sized runs are possible, ideal for pilots and growth.
- Faster turnaround time than when working with a distant country.
We regularly welcome brands and organizations in our workshop. We prefer to do a fitting, sample review, or material selection together at the table.
From idea to clothing rack: this is how our custom process works
No complicated processes, but a clear step-by-step plan:
-
1. Introduction & needs
We zoom in on your brand, usage situations (hospitality, retail, events, office), number of wearers, and sustainability ambitions. -
2. Design & material selection
We determine silhouettes, colors, and details. Where possible, we choose organic, recycled, or deadstock fabrics. -
3. Sample & fitting
You will receive a sample set, we test fit and comfort, and incorporate feedback into the final version. -
4. Production in The Hague
Your collection is made in our workshop, including embroidery, labels, and any upcycling elements. -
5. Aftercare & further development
New colleagues, expansion, or a next step in circularity? We build further on the same foundation.
Sustainable materials & upcycling in your workwear
Sustainability is not a label we add later, but a starting point. Together we look at which combination best fits your organization:
- Organic cotton and recycled fibers for new sets.
- Deadstock fabrics (leftover stock) for a circular choice with a unique character.
- Upcycling of your own old workwear, for example as details, patches, or accessories.
- Recycling & take-back for clothing that is truly at the end of its life cycle (in combination with a recycling process).
Do you want to specifically start with recycling? Then read our article recycling workwear or combine custom work with a take-back program for old clothing.
For whom we make sustainable workwear to measure
We mainly work for organizations that value sustainability and want clothing that aligns with who they are. For example:
- Hospitality & food concepts that want a unique, recognizable style in kitchen and service.
- Retail & brands that want to continue storytelling in their stores and events.
- Impact and non-profit organizations that want to make their values visible in clothing.
- Creative agencies & events that want to make one striking, circular statement.
On our page sustainable workwear, you will find more examples and cases.
The Hague, region and beyond
Our studio is located in The Hague, but we work for clients all over the Netherlands. For organizations in the region (The Hague, Rotterdam, Delft, Leiden), it is extra easy to:
- To do samples and fittings on location or in the studio.
- Physically return old workwear for recycling or upcycling.
- To keep short lines for repeat orders or expansions.
Do you live or work further away? Then we will arrange everything digitally, with clear videos, sample boxes, and online coordination.
