Frequently asked questions about starting a clothing line and production
Do you also help with starting a clothing line?
Yes, we guide you from the first idea for a clothing line all the way to production. We assist with concept, target audience, material choice, patterns, samples, and scheduling production in our studio in The Hague.
What is your minimum order quantity for clothing production?
For clothing, the minimum order quantity is usually between 25 and 50 pieces per style. For accessories, the minimum is often between 25 and 100 pieces. In some cases, custom work is possible from 10 to 25 pieces after a production consultation.
Can I have only samples made without immediately taking production?
Yes, you can also come to us for just patterns and samples. Many starting brands begin with a sample process to test the design before going into production.
Do I need a fully developed design before I get in touch?
No, that is not necessary. A clear direction, examples, sketches, or reference products are enough to get started. During the introductory meeting and production consultation, we will further refine the design together.
What are the costs to have a clothing line produced in the Netherlands?
The costs depend on the number of models, material choice, complexity, and quantity. During the production consultation, we create a transparent budget and price per item, so you can see which combination fits within your budget.
How long does the process take from idea to first production?
If you still need to start with patterns and samples, you should consider a few weeks to a few months, depending on the number of models and the speed of feedback. The production phase itself usually takes a few weeks after all choices have been made.
Do you also work circularly or with sustainable materials for clothing lines?
Yes, we work a lot with organic, recycled, and deadstock materials and can also utilize existing textile flows through upcycling. We help you make choices that align with your sustainable positioning.
Can I visit your studio for an introduction?
Yes, visits are possible by appointment. In an introductory meeting at our studio in The Hague, we will go through your plans, expectations, and the steps needed to realize your clothing line together.
